I made a thing look cool!!

I had the opportunity to do a little girls birthday party and I wanted to be able to make somethings I hadn't tried before.

I had never made gingerbread before and this recipe is from The Humming Bird Bakery. It has been my go to recipe from this point on as its contains a lot more black treacle than usual and I love the taste.

Another attempt to make nice tall cupcakes the likes of which you see in the window of the finest bakeries. And once again they come out looking like poop; this time green textured poop. Changing the nozzle for another small but star shaped one did nothing to help the desired effect and the buttercream is still very lacking oomph. The flowers look good, but again these were bought pre-done from someone much more skilled than me on eBay.

The were the first thing I had made that looked like the picture I was following off the internet and they look really cool! They were super laborious to do and fiddly but so so happy with how these button sugar cookies came out.
