Easter Time arrives

I was so close to having my son at this point and I really didn't have energy to do anything. But I grabbed the bag of Easter decorations out of the loft and put out what I had. It made me feel really festive and fun and I do love a pastel shade.

I love the table runner that is just some Astroturf cut long to fit the table length, and I dotted it with some little fake flowers to make it look like a garden.

Love these bunnies. Wish I had bought more than one string of them.

More lovely Easter bits. This was from Sainsburys Home section and they had lots of stuff in this range. I only got this little banner from it but I could have bought so much more.

My favourite colour is yellow. So this was a great excuse to fill my house with it and flowers.

This is in the main Entrance Hall in my house and is the first thing guests see so its usually the place that gets the most decoration for any holiday.

Note the little plaque in the middle. I got this from T.K.Maxx (T.J.Maxx in the US) and I love how much American stuff I can get in there. This to the untrained eye are just silhouettes of rabbits. To me, I knew they were Peeps: More of a mascot to Easter for me than the Easter Bunny.

I made this after finding a pin on Pinterest. Its a kind of wool wrapped around a polystyrene ring and then I hot glue gunned some flowers to it. Simple but so effective.
